These methods provide us with the ability to recover data from different sources, if necessary. Data from all PBS systems are stored in an off-site vault on a daily basis to assure the information is always available.

Disaster Recovery

At PBS, we do not take disaster recovery lightly. Protecting our patient’s data and ensuring business continuity in the event of a disaster is one of our highest priorities especially during Hurricane Season. We utilize Level 3, a nationally recognized co-location, for storage of data and application servers. This allows for safety in a facility that has redundant power, is climate controlled and that is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Numerous other system enhancements are in place allowing us to quickly recover from a disaster, keeping interruptions to a minimum so you can get back to providing care to your patients.
