On-Going Monitoring

Now that the practice is up and running, it is very important that performance is monitored and reviewed often, especially early on. A practice or project review should involve all key individuals to keep everyone on the same page.  By observing your financial and operational practices, you will more easily be able to track patterns and trends.

In time, benchmarks can be developed to track your progress on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. Customer satisfaction (patients, staff, referring physicians) can also be monitored to be certain that the practice is providing excellent service across the board.  Regular monitoring allows problems to be identified early, therefore avoiding a potential crisis.
